Quickvue Influenza Test

With the Quidel Quickvue Influenza Test kit, you can get your own Flu Test, without going to the doctor's office filled with sick people.

The QuickVue Influenza A+B test detects & differentiates influenza type A and type B antigens directly from nasal swab, nasopharyngeal swab, nasal wash and/or nasal aspirate specimens. Test results are available in 10 minutes or less.  According to the manufacturer, Biomerieux Diagnostics, the nasal swab sample is 94% sensitive, 90% specific to Influenza type A.

You can buy a 25 pack of Quickvue Influenza A + B test kits at Amazon.com. These kits do have a 24 month shelf-life, so you have 2 years of test kits.  If you don't want to buy 25 kits, that sell for $400 or $500, then check out the listings on the right side of this page.  We've searched Ebay for Quickvue Flu kits for sale.  Usually, you can find good deals there for 1 or 3 kit packs at a very reasonable price.  Probably, cheaper than a trip to the doctor and much more convenient.  If you have kids, this is a very handy item to have in the house.
